TYPE BAIT
Tanga Berry
Makes Bug-type Pokémon 10× more likely.
This improves the odds; it does not override biome, time, light or other spawn requirements.

How to make and use a Poké Snack

1

Make the base

Use 3 milk, a honey bottle, a Vivichoke, another honey bottle and 3 hearty grains in a Campfire Pot.
2

Add seasonings

Use your bait slots for the effects you want. The calculator above shows the correct ingredient.
3

Place it outside

Put the snack where the target has valid open spawn space and its normal biome and time conditions can be met.
4

Watch nine bites

Wild Pokémon can take nine bites before the snack is fully eaten. Replace it when it disappears.
A seasoning changes probability, not the spawn rules. A Passho Berry makes Water types 10× more likely among eligible visitors, but it cannot make an ocean-only Pokémon appear in the wrong biome. Modpacks and servers may override base Cobblemon behaviour.

All type bait seasonings

Each berry multiplies the chance of its matching type by 10.

Poké Snack questions

What is the best snack for shiny hunting?

Starf Berry gives a 5× shiny modifier. An Enchanted Golden Apple gives 10× plus a very large rarity boost, but it is much more expensive. Add the matching type berry when you are targeting a particular type.

Can I stack multiple effects?

Use different bait slots to combine useful goals—for example a type berry plus a Starf Berry. The result still depends on valid local spawns and any server-specific configuration.

Why is my Poké Snack attracting nothing?

Check that wild spawning is enabled, the area has valid open spawn positions, and the target's biome, time, weather and light requirements are possible. Test the plain base snack before blaming a seasoning.

Is this for base Cobblemon or an addon?

This guide covers the official base Cobblemon 1.7.3 mechanics. Servers and modpacks can change recipes, spawn pools and multipliers.
