Quick Answer
Fairy types cluster in flower forests, mushroom islands, misty mountain biomes and moonlit plains. They're one of the lower-density types overall — you won't find them in every biome the way bug or flying types appear. Targeting flower fields during the day and open plains at night gives you the best coverage.
How Fairy Type Spawning Works
Fairy types in Cobblemon are tied to environments that feel otherworldly, beautiful or naturally magical. That translates to flower-heavy biomes, mushroom islands, misty highlands and open plains under moonlight. Unlike most types, fairy spawns are spread thin — you rarely encounter multiple fairy lines in the same biome, which makes dedicated fairy hunting a biome-hopping exercise.
There's a clear split between day fairies and night fairies. Togepi, Snubbull and Flabébé are daytime spawners that prefer bright, open environments. Clefairy, Sylveon and Togekiss lean nocturnal or require specific conditions. A few fairy types — like Carbink — are deep cave dwellers entirely at odds with the type's usual aesthetic.

Fairy Types by Biome
Fairy types are spread across several distinct biome types. Here's where to focus for specific lines.
Flower forests and sunflower plains are the single best destination for fairy hunting. Flabébé, Sylveon, Swirlix, Spritzee, Cottonee and Cutiefly all spawn here during the day. Togepi also appears in open meadow areas. If you want to collect multiple fairy entries efficiently, flower biomes are your starting point.
Open plains and village-adjacent areas host a solid cluster of fairy types. Snubbull is the easiest to find — it hangs around villages and plains at any time of day. Jigglypuff roams open grassy areas. Clefairy switches this biome into a great fairy hunting ground at night, especially near mountain edges with exposed stone.
Water-adjacent fairy types are limited but reliable. Azurill appears along pond and river edges during the day, and Marill is found in rivers and lakes. Neither is hard to find once you're near water — both are decent early fairy type options if you don't want to travel to flower biomes.
Two fairy types defy the type's usual aesthetic and live underground. Mawile (Steel/Fairy) spawns in mountain caves and rocky interiors. Carbink (Rock/Fairy) is a rare deep-cave encounter, preferring crystal-style underground chambers. Both are worth the effort — Mawile especially is a popular team pick.
Impidimp is the outlier of the fairy type — a Dark/Fairy that hides in dense, dark woodland at night. It's the only fairy type you'd find in a "spooky" biome context. If you're hunting ghost or dark types at night in forest areas, keep an eye out for Impidimp appearing alongside them.
