How Psychic Type Spawning Works

Psychic types in Cobblemon favour bright, open biomes — flower forests, plains, meadows and sunflower plains. Unlike ghost types that are tied to darkness, psychic types lean toward light environments and many have dawn-biased spawn windows rather than strict day or night restrictions.

The "dawn" window in Cobblemon is roughly the first few minutes of in-game daylight — when the sky transitions from dark to light. Several psychic types are most active during this window, though they'll also spawn throughout the day at reduced rates.

A few psychic types break the pattern — Slowpoke spawns near water, Jynx is in frozen biomes, and Espeon requires evolving Eevee rather than finding it wild.

Best Biomes for Psychic Type Hunting

Flower Forest is the single best psychic biome in Cobblemon. Ralts, Munna, Gothita, Hatenna and Musharna all have strong spawn rates here, and many are active at dawn giving you a bonus window early in the day. If you want the widest psychic type selection, head to a Flower Forest at dawn.

Open plains are good for the more common psychic types — Abra, Kadabra, Natu and Girafarig all spawn here during the day. Note that Abra teleports away extremely quickly if you don't engage it fast enough — approach carefully or use a move that prevents escape.

Three psychic types are desert-exclusive: Sigilyph (psychic/flying), Elgyem, and Solrock. These are worth knowing because players hunting psychics in plains will never find these three — you need to specifically visit desert or mesa biomes.
